Oh ---not terribly helpful though0

I've got 25mm Michelin Pro's on my Open Pro's and they are fine. On and off easy enough and they haven't done anything I didn't want them to in 6 months.I'm left handed, if that matters.0

thanks for that0 -
Intyernal width oof an open pro is 15mm I think so it should take 28c tyres with no issues. Never measured the internal width of a RR415 though.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0

Open Pros will take a 32mm CX tyre no problem and I've got away with 38mm (Schwalbe Snow tyres) even though Mavic recommend 28mm maximum. Wider rims do mean that the tyre profile is a flatter U-shape, which means you get more grip and less sidewall 'squirm'. Just built some new disc wheels with Stan's Crest 29er rims and the tyre feels like I've got more grip than the previous wheels with narrower rims.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
