What do people use for teh hole thro` BB carbon shell to guide front mech wire ?

Anyone tried this ? http://www.carboncycles.cc/?s=0&t=2&c=86&p=930&

Is an outer guide required at all or without one the wire will cut into carbon ?

i just put the cable through with no worries, it swhat its therefore after all - that device looks to be passing the cable underneath the BB and not for passing it internally up the frame.

so you`re saying just bare wire OK?, you`ve not had any issues with wire cutting in to carbon (given that cable rub can cut away at carbon tubes) ?

Just had a look at my Orca. The hole going up through the carbon just behind BB to front mech has a metal lining, presumably to prevent cable rubbing and causing damage. However, as the cable goes straight up I wouldn't have thought it would cause much damage to the carbon.

it must have some kind of internal routed lining because when you feed the cable through it comes out the other end - heres a pic of my cable entering the void
