I've just purchased some American Classic 420 Aero 3's, so now I need Tubes to go in them, does anyone know what valve length will fit, do I have to get 60's or would a 52 work.

52 work but depends on your pump head. I have the same wheels and a Joe Blo track pump with the 'intelligent' head and it just fits.

The rim depth is only 34mm on the AC 420 Aeros if that helps.
    Yellow is the new Black.

The longer you go the more Pro it looks and the more room you have to clamp valves on - it may not seem important at home in your garage but if you;re stuck miles form home and soemone has a pump that won't clamp on the 5mm of valve head showing then its an arrrze.

Remeber that valve caps must be black to ensure max top end speed.

Or you could just take them to the shop and try the valves in situ and see what you want. But I'd go with the above.

Finally: remeber Rule 40 when fitting tyres - this is not an option.

we had a guy come to the shop the other day after getting a pinch flat. he replaced the tube with one he had but couldn't get his pump on. ther also wasn't enough of the valve showing for the stirup pump we have outside the shop. after ten mins or so faffing i said to him "do you want a new tube?" he got one with the longest valve and was on his bike ten minutes later.
