Handlebar mount for FLIP Ultra videocam
Any bright ideas for one?
Scenario, didn`t want to buy a specific helmet cam as too specific so opted for a FLIP Ultra HD videocam, which takes nice HD pics but not super wide angle, but does the job OK
HOWEVER
the mounting boss is at end of camera, far end from lens; so when mounted on a handlebar bracket there is excess vibration, leads to jiggery videos on most road surfaces.
Tried a few standard h`bar mounts, including home made ones, all end up too much vibration

Has anyone come up with a bracket solution, hopefully that holds cam in middel to reduce vibration? I can think of a few ways with bits metal clamps but have issue them video start / stop button is blocked off
Don`t want to use a helmet mount as don`t like idea extra bits strapped onto a safety item ie the helmet
all ideas welcome , ta

use an old light bracket from an ever ready front light, cut the front part off and mount a c mount screw through the base, you can then use an elastic band to hold the unit against the bracket at the top.0
