Rusty saddle rails

Looking at my Selle Italia SL the other day, I noticed some small, what appears to be, rust bubbles on the bend of the rails, behind where the seat post attaches. Should I be worried by this?

Can we file this with the "can I use tape on my c/f seat post query" please.

I have metal rails that after being out in the elements seem to have got a minute bit of rust on them.

    Seriously?

    No worries,

rust is a problem only in people's head... if you don't like it, polish it off with some steel wool and use some body work wax to prevent it coming back.
But if you can't sleep at night, buy a saddle with titanium rails, they won't rust
