Rock shox Reba dual air, problem/stupidity?

Hi all, just fitted a brand new set of Reba dual air to a frame,with no manual to hand I checked the + pressure which was at 90, then checked the - pressure which was zero. Used shock pump to inflate to 100psi which was fine for a minute then the seal blew from the top of the leg with quite a pop, I had not put any force on the forks for this to happen. Pressures were within the data on the the fork.
So question is really have I done something stupid? Is my fork now in need of repair?
First set of forks I have set up so any advice/pee taking is welcome.
