Michelin Pro Race 4 - flint cuts

Hi people
Any users on here that have used Michelin Pro Race 3 and switched to Michelin Pro Race 4 finding they get less flint cuts?
The 3's are pretty poor for getting cut up and I have been using them for that last 3 seasons but I would not use anything else due to the speed and grip I'm getting. A little more durability would be nice hence the question!

a pro race 3 fan here - I didnt expect the PR4 to be much better TBH.. but you have seem to have concluded, its a price worth paying, and you're not alone.
I do use Conti Grand Prix when i think the roads are abnormally damaging to the PR's thoughhttp://veloviewer.com/SigImage.php?a=3370a&r=3&c=5&u=M&g=p&f=abcdefghij&z=a.png

The Pro4 is less tacky feeling and so far for me that seems to have meant less surface cuts (grip and speed are both still excellent).
Not sure if it's worth the extra cash though given the huge discounts on Pro3s at the moment.0 -
Small cuts can be fixed by deflating the tyre, putting a few drops of superglue in and then pumping the tyre back up to full pressure to seal it. Obviously allow to harden before riding0

Ive heard people complain about cuts in the Pro3s... I mush have been lucky but I rode a set all winter and found them more durable than GP4 seasons. If i give them a wipe over with a damp cloth now they look like new.
Mabey I got a hard set that had been on the shelf a while...0
