Does this have normal quick release for the back wheel?
Yes, I am going to see if I can convert to a 10mm thru. If a 10mm thru axle will pass through the bearings I will have the QR end caps drilled out . I will wait until I get the ceramic bearing upgrade, then I can do it all at once. I may have to put different sized bearings in the hub, I have found some bearings with the same diameter and width but larger inner bore so it can be done.

Due to the heavier wheels and tyres the weight has crept up to 29.3lbs, still not bad considering it has a dropper, saint brakes and hefty wheels. It still feels lively underfoot.

  • Those wheels are really cool though. I know it's more convenient and safer to have the dropper with a remote but I think I'd prefer the lever under the saddle if I was to get one.
The difference between my Prophet and my old Jekyll was incredible. The only gripe I have with Cannondale is, those bloody cable things.

From personal experience I would advise you get remote version, trying to find the lever when riding one handed and hitting bumps is not easy. As for the cabling, I find it ok. A few well placed cable ties sorts it out and the routing for my dropper remote works well too.
