hi guy
i have just got a turbo trainer and it already a drag changing tyre every time i want to go out, any advice on what would be the cheapest way to get a new back wheel for trainer. i currently have the tyre but i need a wheel and a cassette my group set is Shimano 6700. any advice on what i need, really want it a cheap as possible weight is not a issue due to being on a turbo trainer
thx

would i need any tool to fit the cassette0

Assuming you're getting a new cassette to put on your turbo wheel, all you'll need is a cassette lockring tool and a spanner to turn it. Make sure you fit the cassette with a spacer behind it if required (depends on what cassette and what freehub you have)
If you need to take a cassette off you'll then need a chainwhip as well0 -
I've used this: http://www.decathlon.co.uk/rear-700-whe ... 05016.html
only £35 (plus 10% discount if you are member of a cycling club). I also got a 5700 cassette at the same time. I had a couple of point vouchers, so all in it cost me £60. I already had a turbo tyre.
Where are you based?0 -
i live in east sussex, do i need to get 6700 cassette or will 105 do, sorry new to this0

5700 (105) will be fine.
My road wheels I run PG1070 on my HED, and have just swapped to a 1070 from a 6600 on my Kysriums0
