Fitting Octalink crankset - quick double check
Evening All
I am just finishing fitting an FSA Pro Team carbon crankset to an Octalink bottom bracket - just a quick question to ease my mind:
The splines on the crankset lined up fine with the b/b and the crankset sat on there nicely with a push - by doing up the big centre bolt it seems to be pulling itself nice and straight onto the b/b. Theoretically I can carry on doing the bolt up all the way and it will push the crank arm on all the way.
Does all this sound ok to you guys/gals? I'm 99% sure its cool, but as I haven't done this for donkeys just want to ease my mind!
Thankyou very much in advance

Just tighten to about 50Nm & it will pull itself on. Great BB by the way. None of the issues of the modern stuff!-- "I am but a spoke in the wheel of life" -- Ghandi0

Cool - thankyou very much indeed - all looked good as I was doing it and when you think about it logically it works but you know when you just need to bounce it off someone.
Agree the b/b: I use them on a couple of my bikes and have never had a problem and a doddle (he says, considering the above post!) to fit.
Thankyou very much again.
