New groupset onto old frame
Ok this bike thing is realitivly new to me, im more of a car builder then a bike builder.
ok after being let down yesterday on a bike that was right up my alley.
cheap frame, new gears and brake mech
i thought, why dont i see if i put one together myself.
is this a simple process, and what parts would i need to do this?
pretty handy with diy stuff, but dont have any tools, so i would prolly need advice on these too
cheers guys

They're pretty simple things as you might expect. The main problem is the requirement for special tools; things like the bottom bracket and cassette need specific spanners depending on what type of part you're going to fit. A workstand makes final setup a bit easier but it's not an essential; besides, if you're handy then you can easily knock your own up.- - - - - - - - - -

A lot of the specialist tools are specific to the component, so until you know what parts you need to fit, then hard to make recommendations. In terms of more general tools, a set of metric Allen keys up to 10mm plus a decent pair of cable cutters are essential.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
