I am currently trying to bulk up. I have planned a regime based around weights, squats, sit-ups etc. Would it be more beneficial to me if I did maybe two hard 45 minute long sessions each week or a short 10 minute session every day?

3 or 4 hard sessions a week will do well. Such short sessions are normally not tat great unless you go full whack the whole time, and every day target a different group of muscles.0
