If it's coming from your PC you need to upload to Photobucket etc. If it's a photo direct from the internet you just place the 'copy image url' between the img tags.
It goes without saying that any picture needs to include knockers."There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world, t'would be a pity to damage yours."0 -

How to add images to your posts
First you need to host the image somewhere on the net.
common hosts are
http://www.imageshack.us/
http://www.flickr.com/
http://photobucket.com/
Please read their Terms and conditions regards linking and hosting.
some sites provide code for you to add to your post, or you can copy the images properties and paste that between the img tags provided by the img box above the reply window.
for example this picture
http://mos.bikeradar.com/images/news/20 ... 280-80.jpg
that is the properties of the image. now put it between the img tags and you get.
Make sure you are actually linking an image file. IE. .jpg or .gif or .png etc.[img]http://mos.bikeradar.com/images/news/2008/02/12/74397687-280-80.jpg[/img]
if the images are BIG please resize or use a thumbnail image like
this is an example provided by Imageshack.

Thanks guys. So the key is the image has to be on Photobucket or a like ... wouldn't be too difficult for the FAQ to say this !
Aggieboy - I'm humbled before you regarding quality of knockers, I'm not even going to try and compete (esp on the work laptop)
Cheers guys

Can I recommend Dropbox as a place to keep your pictures online for this? Unlike photobucket/imageshack and so on, pictures linked thus are free of ads, popups, needless browser chrome and so on. Just the image in your browser window. Apart from anything else, it's a couple of GB of free online space without strings, as far as I can see.
And I didn't even give a referral link..0 -
Just one other refinement regards size of image when loaded up.
When you have image on computer check pixel width under image. My advice is if larger than 600 then open image in photoshop or similar and change image width, save/overright then import to photobucket or facebook or whatever. Stops these silly great pics you can't see on the screen whole .0 -
Is it possible to change the size of the picture on the forum without having to resize the original source picture?
On some other forums (yes... there are other forums out there!) it is possible to add 'width=600' between the image tags like this -[img width=600]http:/image_url[/img]
but it doesn't seem to work on here when I've tried it.0 -

Thanks for your answer Ron. I already knew how resize my own pictures on photobucket/flickr etc, but the problem is when you are posting someone else's picture off the web: I don't want to have to upload it onto my account and clutter up my account with someone else's pictures. Maybe next time there is a big reorganisation of the site the 'powers that be' could make it happen.0
