bike part name

I am after the name for the large screw and disc used to fasten the front fork to the frame.
Stupid question i know but after another colour from red.

    It's called headset, a bit more complicated than just a screw and a cap... unless you mean the top bit, which is the headset top cap

    I think you mean the Headset Cap and bolt..... (or top cap and bolt)
    Hope head doctor is a headset clamp (complete with top cap) and it comes in various colours.

    It would be nice if we knew that a star fangled nut was appropriate to the situation here.
    Expander bung more suited to carbon forks perhaps? :roll:

    oops sorry forgot to mention the OP does not like the red bit.
    I can see that x-ray vision allows the internals of a fork to be seen.
