Has anybody had any experiance upgrading with KCNC parts, I've been looking at using some parts but reviews are thin on the ground, I've have seen reviews on stems, seatposts and cassettes but I've been looking at their range of chainrings and other parts.

Cheers

Expensive Bling but good I think...

  • Got some dust caps which are well nice. very well made with good finish. nice colour range too. can't cimment on anything else, not sure if i'd go for seat posts or stems & the like, but chainrings, bolts & seat clamps i would be happy to have on my bikes.

I have the scandium seatpost that was given 10 out of 10 by C+ about a year ago. Not sure whether its as good or better than a carbon post as suggested but the clamp is fantastic, by far the best I've used and the easiest for making small adjustments to your saddle position. I've had no issues with quality either during the 12 months or so that I've used it.

Raced last season using a KCNC a BB30 adaptor without issue & it's still going strong.
  • Thanks for all the replies, as I said I'm wanting to change a few parts on my bike and KCNC stuff does appear to be well made and relativley light for the money, I've ordered the scandium seat post and a stem, other parts are in the pipeline too. :D

Think KCNC, especially from the ´bay, is great bang for your money - Ive got their seatpost, seat clamp, fd clamp QR,s and jockey wheels´all bought over the past 4 years. Good stuff, really well milled, light as heck, I just cant wait to see what their pedal system looks like!

  • Are they doing some 'proper' road pedals, I'm looking at getting some Speedplay Zero's for my new bike as I want something different from the Shimano's I'm currently using.

I looked at KCNC's site and only saw the Knife pedals :?

Why not go the whole hog and get yourself a Burls Ti framed bike where they have collaborated with KCNC to supply about 80% of the components.

    One nice machine IMHO
  • The pedals look interesting, I wonder how far from actually being available they are.
