Quick question,
I fitted my front mech today and I think I was told the wrong fitting by merlin. Have a look at the pic and let me know if you think I should have got an alternative mounting one. At the min the clamp sits right in between the bottle bosses on the seat tube. Seems very High to me. Advice please? :S

Can you get it positioned correctly?
Are you wanting to use n mounts?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I've got it positioned correctly atm. The only reason I would use those mounts is for a mini pump but that could go under the other cage. Its no biggie if it the wrong clamp as I will stick this on ebay and get a top pull from CRC.0 -

Its a Sintesi 707. Cable routing looks the same as yours and I know the mechs are designed to run on any cable routing i.e the cable doesn't have to run over the plastic guide system if cables are top mounted.0
