Got the chance to get a new set of these very cheaply from a shop (under half price), they look pretty bling but are they worth the hassle?
I don't race but am a fairly powerful 100kg rider. it comes as a 48/34 hence the price I guess which is no big deal to overcome I would have thought in terms of replacement rings?
Firstly I have read that there have been some issues with them, not exactly sure what (pedal inserts I think amongst others) but is this just a few people on the same forum (mainly weight weenie sites), bad luck or is it poor product? Will my weight be a factor in any way?
What do I need to look out for/pay special attention to maintenance wise if I do buy?
Any advice/words of wisdom to pursuade me one way or the other would be appreciated.

AFAIK bottom bracket design is fairly unique so sourcing replacements might be tricky.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
