Garmin woes

My cadence sensor GFC10 has decided to go haywire on me.
Had it for a couple of years now, faultless. Loss of signal thought it might be the battery so I changed it for a new one press the reset button ready for pairing with my 705 and only the green light flashes? No red! Infuriating, has anyone else had similar problems?

Unusual. It is normally the green speed one that gives trouble if any. Try taking the battery out and putting it in the wrong way up for a few seconds. Also make sure the new battery is not low on power. It needs to read at least 3.0 volts. Make sure the crank magnet has not been moved. Try passing a magnet close past the cadence mark on the GSC10. If all this fails then it looks as if it is knackered.0

Cheers,
I think its gubbed. Shame they cost so much to replace, I dont suppose Garmin do a part exchange on them?Rock 'n' Roule0
