Raceface prodigy XC cranks.

i would like to upgrade my set up from 8 to 9 speed, was thinking about sram x0 shifers, rear mech and cassette with sram x9 front mech. to save on money i wanted to keep my raceface prodigy chainset that is old but new condition, would the 9 speed setup work with this chainset, cheers.

    Yes but you may need to change the rings if worn.

    if i got the sram x0 rear cage what length would you suggest long or medium. cassette is the sram pg990, cheers.
