Anyone got experience with either of these bikes?

I want a cheap CX bike to get me out on local lanes and bridleways as I've done my back in and XC MTBing is aggravating it every time I ride. I need to keep exercising whilst in rehab.

I know I can get a 2nd hand one for that money but finding one locally (W Yorks) aint easy.
thanks

RG

No experience of these bikes - have just collected a Kinesis Crosslight 4t with 105 kit on it from an Ebay purchase. Cost me £375 and it is in A1 condition. May be worth trying Ebay or other auction sites to see if there is anything in your budget that is of interest.

This is one I spotted that may be of the type you want and better spec than the bikes listed

  • thanks ALaPlage - you were lucky getting that Kinesis at that price !!

originally I thought I'd spedn £350 on a 2nd hand one but I can't find any locally maybe its better to wait until the spring? So I started looking at new cheap ones because at least I get a limited guarantee with a new one but used is "bought as seen".

If its the size you are after seems a good deal, good name and new.

CX season finishes at the end of this month, so you may see a few more used bikes coming onto the market.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
