Hello all,

I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help but I'm struggling to get some suitable winter cycling tights, I'm quite short (5'8") but I have a 36 inch waist, all the larger sizes seem to have really long legs so don't seem to fit right? Is there anything i could do? Would rolling the leg up be uncomfortable?

Could I get away with 3/4 bib tights and long socks for the winter?

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

    Hello,

You could try Roubaix type leg warmers or knee warmers if your legs are really short (Prendas stock Santini Roubaix knee warmers which are quite long). Perhaps you could try on some 3/4 length bibs and see if they would work with socks. I doubt that there are any known issues with rolling up longs other than the look though.

    I am the same size - 5' 8", 36 waist and 29 inside leg.

These do the trick (large size):

JJB Sports sell them but a few online companies do them a good deal cheaper.

Old skool is a pair of 3/4 tights with knee length socks - I've ridden in zero temperatures with this arrangement
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
