Hi guys.
I'm finally getting round to building up my orange crush 2008 frame.
However it hasn't come with a BB fitted and so have no idea what size to get.
It's probably something I should know but unfortunately I don't!
I was just wondering if anyone could help me out and enlighten me?
Hoping to get a decent cheap BB off CRC but want to make sure I get the right size!
Thanks in advance!

It hasn't come with one.
But looking at the review of it on bikeradar: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/ ... h-08-30551
The photos show a raceface evolve XC chainset on that image.0 -
ANy modern chainset with external bottom bracket for standard shells will work ie all Shimano HT2, GXP etc. They come with spacers, so all you need to do is measure the shell width of the bottom bracket (68mm or 73mm)0

So just get a BB to suite the chainset you plan on using! Is the BB standard threaded, measure the width (68 or 73mm) and fit something like Shimano HT2 (Desore through XTR) after getting the BB shell faced! Most will give you a chainline of 47.5-50mm if you buy a matching set.

Cheers for the help guys, know what I'm looking for now!
It's so simple now that you've explained it... Feel rather stupid!
BB have always bewildered me though, but about time I learnt.
Cheers again!0
