Tyre repair

I had a ~1.5cm cut in my tyre next to one of the blocks that was big enough to allow the inner tube to bulge out of. I have just glued it and lined the inside with some Kevlar tape. Do you think this will hold ?

    Ok there is only one way to find out. But do others repair their tyres or just get a new one.

    Some people repair - guess it depends on how confident you are in your repair ability.
    TBH should be fine.

    I had not tried this before so just wanted to know what other people had done. But I will find out how it worked in the morning. And whatever happens it cannot be any worse than what happened at Elands.
