Cleaning out old fluid.

Is it worth cleaning out the old fluid from my louise bat disk brakes?

If so what would I use to push the old fluid out and to clean out the inside of the tubes?

I'd then fill them back up with royal blood fluid.

Also anyone know where I can get one of those yellow magura disk brake spacers, that goes between the pads when the wheel is off.

I've had the brakes for a couple of years.

Thankyou.

    Are they working ok atm?

    Any spacers will work.
  • Pushing new fluid through cleans the old stuff out. If you don't have the bleed spacers use a bit of wood or something instead....doesn't have to be a Proper bleed block

There ok, they just need bleeding.

If they have a different fluid, then the magura royal blood, in them would it still be ok just to push the old fluid out with new stuff?

Why bother, any mineral oil or LHM fluid will work just as well at a tenth of the price.
