Inner Tube sizes

Hi All,

I have just purchased a couple of Dr Slime tubes for my Boardman MTB. The tube is to fit 26 x 1.50 to 26 x 2.10 tyres. I have just noticed that the tyres fitted to the Boardman are 26 x 2.20. Will I be OK to use these tubes? - as I cannot find any larger width Dr Slime tubes.

Yes will be fine.

The tube walls will be a bit thinner than "recommended" due to the smaller size, and will stretch to accompany the extra size. You'll be fine! But don't be too surprised if a few extra punctures happen depending what tyres you have.

Been running those same size slime tubes with 2.25 tyres on two different bikes with no problems. No punctures either although that may just be the green stuff doing its job
