Obviously, the tri one has 1 strap to get out of easily. However is that all there is between them? Right now, I am assuming the road version doesn't move around your foot as much - after all it has three straps.
The excellent reviews for both of them, and the lack of reviewers criticizing them makes me wander as a road user if I should just buy the triathlon version? (Looks better too)
What, if anything, am I missing?

haven't any experience with either of these, but the three straps should allow you to get a better fit than the single strapmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0

I've a pair of tri-Carnacs and the fit is pretty much right for me but because of the single strap I just can't get them quite as tight on my feet as a triple strap Carnac (I've had 2 pairs) so they do allow a touch greater movement.0

On triathlon shoes the single strap closes in the opposite direction, so the straps don't get caught up in the chain when you exit T1 (apparently). Although this isn't really an upside, the downside is, you only have one strap to adjust the fit.0

Single-strap shoes never feel as secure as multi-strap. Top end road shoes often have a ratchet top strap which is even more secure and is easier to adjust on the fly.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
