Inflating Tubs on a Zipp disc

Hi all
Just bought a TT bike which has a Zipp 900 rear disk (the flat one). The seller gave me a brass 90 degree Schrader pump adapter, which I have fitted to my Jo Blow track pump. It is this one here http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/zipp-disc-floor-item141899.html
However, there is no sort of locking mechanism when you put it onto the valve and it is a real struggle to pump up the tyre whilst keeping the adapter on the valve; it takes one person holding it on and another to do the pumping. Now this can't be right, so where am I going wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Yes that is the norm, normally get asked a few times in the season if I can hold the brass adaptor on whilst they pump the tub up.0

Obviously a daft thought, but doesn't your Jo Blow have a Schrader valve option?, Just asking as mine does.0

Yeah, it does. But that won't fit in the small opening in a disc wheel, hence the 90 degree brass adapter supplied with a disc wheel. The problem is these don't lock onto the valve, hence the need for a spare pair of hands!!!

I knew it was a daft question. Strange though that a locking device hasn't been developed esp. as the adaptor is not exactly cheap for something that doesn't fit purpose.0
