I was just driving home up the mountain and saw a Vacansoleil rider climbing up. He stopped when he reached the village with a mechanical problem so I invited him to my house to repair it.
We repaired his bike and he wouldn´t accept anything to eat or drink and off he went to do his third lap of the climb up to Vilaflor (Tenerife). That would be around 4000 meters of climbing !!
