If when I complete my detailed inspection of my RS10 rims I conclude that I have worn them out already  , are replacements even available? I can't find them anywhere.

Failing that, is there another rim I could lace on to the existing hub / spokes?

I suspect this will be complicated by:

Low spoke count, 16F, 20R, and the asymmetric rear rim profile, so the spokes unlikely to fit anything else

If you can't find the shimano replacement your stuffed, no one i know make any rims with less than 28holes.

Had a look by daylight today; relieved to see the rear indicators very clearly on both sides of the rim. The fronts are also visible, but nowhere near as obvious so they are obviously somewhat worn. Think I'm off shopping for some softer pads; cheaper and easier to replace than rims!

Koolstop pads highly rated for being rim friendly.
