Cervelo S1 fork damage

Hey all,
I'm riding a Cervelo S1 with a 3T Funda Pro fork. The Cervelo dealer I got the bike from assured my that my 25mm Gatorskins would fit, but the clearance is very tight and the underside of the fork is gradually being worn away by the crap that sticks to the tyres.
This has got to the point that it has worn through the paint and to my eye is wearing into the carbon itself. Am I being utterly utterly stupid in not going to the shop immediately?
Thanks

I would get back to 23s. Clean the fork and have a good look, are you through to fibres? If not then a slick of nail varnish should do you. Depending on timescales I'd be back to the dealer though if it's that close.Neil

Well I've taken it back in, the frame and fork are getting replaced under warranty anyway (crack in the seat tube, yay for Cervelo engineering) but the pisser is that I now can't ride this frame until the warranty comes through.
I have to say I really do like the ride of 25s, I'm reasonably heavy (~87kg) and powerful and 25s gave me a lot more cushioning and control. But at the expense of sawing through my fork!!!0 -
Keep to 23mm on the front wheel and a 25mm on the rear wheel? That's where most of your weight is.0

a 23 isn't always a 23mm per-se...the 25s could be 26+ and so on. try vittoria pave if you really want 25s. in sure if you google "gatorskin real width effective weightweenies" youll get some resuls.Dogma

Use helicopter tape to protect the underside of the fork0
