Edinburgh Bike Co-op Revolution Air
Only a tenner at the moment. I've had one for about a year and it works flawlessly.More problems but still living....0 -
I bought the EBC one for a mate and, I agree, it's a cracking deal.

I have the Beto with pressure guage, worked flawlessly for me for circa 3 years on a multitude of family bikes, its had regular use...

For something like a track pump, its best to get what you want, rather than something cheap...unless you plan on giving up cycling, you're going to be using it for a long time. I say this as I had a cheap Park track pump at first, and the difference is like night and day between that and the Specialized.
I picked a Specialized A1 aluminium trackpump up for about on sale, 13 years ago, I think they're called Air Tools. It was basically their top of the line, and I'd hankered after one for ages, as I read a review which said they were best on test, but they were so expensive.

Everything can be taken apart and fixed, and its built well and works flawlessly. But they were normally expensive. I think I paid less than GBP 30 in the end, back in 1999, half of what it would have cost. Its best to wait on kit like this for sales. If you do this with all the stuff you know you want long term, you'll save yourself a fortune. The Park pump probably cost me something like GBP 15 in 1997, but I would say it was really worth about GBP 10 in terms of function in comparison to the Specialized.0
