Seen this at Evans on sale for £699. Any views?

  • I have ordered the very same bike from Evens so will let you know what it's like when it arrives and I take it out for a spin. I'm a roadie and ordered it to replace my winter bike, for flexibility of a little off roading.

    Yes I think that was the one thing holding me back. What's the history here as to why cyclocross bikes are only just moving to disc brakes?

    Disc brakes weren't allowed in cross races but the rules have changed now . Looking at your other thread you won't need disc brakes there's nothing wrong with cantis i use them on and off road and never had a problem.

    Discs are sooo good in the wet though. You really can go faster when you know you can stop.
