I am going to buy some leg warmers for use until it gets really cold (I have some bib tights and Ron Hill Bikesters for that)
Does anyone have any they can recommend cause there are so many out there, I don't want to spend too much.

I've got some Craft 3D ones which are good.

But please - don't wear the Bikesters. Ever.
    More problems but still living....

Agreed - Bikesters have no place in modern cycling. :-)

I'd just get some thermal DHB bibs from Wiggle. Its not like you're going to want to take the leg warmers off as you're too hot is it ?
  • I just order some DHB leg warmers from Wiggle £12.79 as I think it not cold enough for bib tights yet. I don't like it when I get too hot as I find if it's a bit chilly I soon warm up after a couple of miles.

I have new DHB bib shorts they will go with them. what's wrong with Bikesters is it because there not skin tight.
  • Should have gone for Assos Roubaix

Have you considered the Castelli NanoFlex leg warmers. Really are top drawer, been out in these on a three hour ride when it didn't stop raining. My legs wer dry and so were the leg warmers on the inside. Same with the NanoFlex bib thights can't recommend them highly enough.

I don't rate the Assos one's or the knee warmers, they are both too tight and the gradually work they way down your legs. Probably one of the poorer products in the Assos range in my opinion. But evceryone is different.
  • I got the DHB Pace lyra ones as I just want a covering that gives me the same warm as my shorts. I have some thermal winter bib tight that are water repelent and much thicker for when it gets really cold. These will be for these mild days we are having now, not for midwinter.

Used my specialized ones today, no creeping down and didn't over heat either, I had to size up to large though as the mediums were digging into my thighs way too much.
  • I got my DHB Pace lycra leg warmers and gave them a try as in was only about 7 or 8 degrees C
They were great my legs felt warm without being too hot and they didn't let the wind chill through fit was good and they never wokred there way down or anything.

    Giordana, toasty as hell!
  • Only have Giordana arm and knee warmers, but if the leg warmers are just as good then +1 from me :-)

Tried out my new Endura fs260 leg warmers today for the first time and I was very pleased with them. No slippage, which was my major worry. Would recommend them.
