topo GB maps v OS maps on Edge 800

is there much difference between the maps you get with TOPO GB and the GB discoverer maps now available for the Garmin.

    Well, from what I've seen, the Topo GB has contours (as the name implies) but otherwise it's more like a road atlas with streetnames on. Off-road lanes and paths are strangely sketchy - occasionally present, but mostly not.

    The OS map has the lot - lanes, paths, contours, terrain features (but no streetnames).
