Hi,
My road bike has just started to make a clicking noise from the headset/fork area when I stand up to pedal, applying direct pressure to the front. Is this a headset bearing failure? I've ad the bike for over a year and done many miles since purchase.
cheers

might just need adjusting."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Yeah first thing you want to do is check that it's adjusted properly.
Loosen the stem bolts and the tighten the top cap until all play is taken up - make sure the bars still move freely as that is too tight.
Then tighten the stem again.
If it's not that then you can open it and clean and grease everything - although they're cartridge bearings that can keep it going a bit longer.I'm left handed, if that matters.0
