2006 StumpJumper Paint job

Hi ive just picked up a Stumpjumper but its a bit beat up and was wondering if it can be painted as it seems to have a lacquer film over the frame

If so how can it be done thxs

    First find a local powder coater and get a price for stripping and repainting, if thats to expensive then you will have to strip and repaint using rattlecans which will probably cost you nearly as much.

    Depends on colour and finish, ie gloss black is cheaper than blue metallic, between £50-£100 I would say.

    To strip it and paint yourself will cost you around £60.

    Try to speak to the guy actually painting it and explain all the bearing housings etc need masking and ask him how he will prep the frame.

    It ally so he should etch prime before applying the powder.
