Tapered headtube / straight forks?

Hi,
I've been searching the forum, google etc and am struggling to find a definitive answer.
I currently have a tapered headtube on a boardman team r with carbon forks. The forks have a tapered steerer, 1.5" bottom, 1 1/8" at the top.
I want to change to a pair of rock shox forks which have a straight 1 1/8 steerer.
Can i just change the crown race for something like this
http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/cane-cre ... 57040.html
Or do i need to fit the bottom half of 1.5 headset as well? I cant be the only person to have this trouble
Any help, very gratefully received!!!

You can but Hope are silly expensive.
Cane Creek are mix and match and much cheaper, and I think Superstar do the same.I don't do smileys.

1.5 to 1.125 is what he needs, just for the record. 1.25 is 1 1/4 inch (like the new standard from Giant), 1.125 is 1 1/8.A much loved, Giant Trance X3 20100 -

Good point, my mistake - bit of brain fade.
Was on my phone and couldn't work out 1 1/8" in predictive text.I don't do smileys.
