Saddle bags

So what;s a good bag for using on club rides :?:

Want it big enough to carry essential tools, puncture repair kit, spare tube and a mars bar (or equivalent snackette).

Use a pannier bag on my commuter bike (hybrid) and would rather not mess around swapping the tools between bikes as i'm a forgetful older gent. So happy to pay a bit more for an integrated bag with a toolset, such as the Topeak one's.

Appreciate any recommendations 8)

Love the Leyzne Micro Caddy. Very minimalist looking but very securely fitted with large velcro tabs over the saddle rails. No seatpost velcro tab either, so no bobbling on the bib shorts!

I think mine is the medium and it easily swallows a tube, levers, co2 cartridge, with room to spare.

My god man you make it sound like u need a tool box strapped to the back!!

I've just got a little specialised bag, quite small, but manage to pack it out with everything I need including levers, multitool, tube, telescopic pump, repair kit, scabs/patches, needle phone etc....you don't need it to be too big...

Absolutely, anything else looks like overkill.

Went for the Altura medium. Big enough for inner tube, allen key set, multitool (gerber), puncture kit, phone, cash and card 8)

It's exactly the right size bag for me

I've just bought a 'false water bottle' for winter use - I have two bottle cages and will never use both for drinks at this time of the year. They come in two different sizes, cost around £5 and can be switched between bikes in two seconds flat. Not the solution in summer weather but great for now.
