Afternoon
I am trying to find the best bike for my girlfriend who is looking to get into triathlons with me.
Ideally I want to spend between £600 and £800, but want a bike, that should she get into it is suitable to upgrade in the future.
Thanks
Pete

Giant avail is basically a Defy for women, Fuji & specialised also do some nice women variations of their mend bikes, giant & specialised are very upgradable0

My wife's Giant Avail 2 is a good option in that range.
Unless things have changed in the last 2 seasons I'd avoid Bianchi's as a first bike as the head tube was very short (a very aggressive position probably isn't the best for a beginner).
Other than that was generally more impressed by the Giant offering than the Specialized Dolce. I took them both out for a ride and have to say that the Dolce felt like it was a big wallowing thing while the Giant felt balanced and more responsive (which I suspect is down to length of wheelbase and fork rake).0
