best time for a bargain?

hey all,
my sister has just got £500 of cycle to work scheme vouchers (or whatever they are called).
she doesnt want to start riding until the spring but wondered if its better to buy now or just after crimbo?
as someone new to cycling i'm not the best person to advise her..

Are the vouchers for use anywhere in particular?? Many schemes exclude sale bikes due to the scheme taking 10% of the purchase price0

she said it has halfords on it but i thought you could shop anywhere with the scheme?

There's so many different scheme's out there Jimbo. Halfords have their own so it could be she is tied to them. If thats the case then I'm not sure if she can buy Sale bikes - am sure someone here will know the Halfords scheme pretty well0
