Hi all
I've just got my first decent bike, a 2011 Commencal Ramones CrMo, and now I'm looking forward to hitting some of the local woods/trails this weekend.
But my question is - the forks that are fitted as standard are a pair of RS Revelation RL 150mm, 15mm Maxle Light. From what I can see online these are supposed to be dual position (30mm sag-to-sag drop), but from a hunt through the manual, RS webby, google, and this forum, I cant find anything for the life of me which tells me how to activate it.
I can see no detented knob anywhere, no dials or anything else that would give me what I'm looking for.
It has the RED rebound dial under the right drop-out, a BLUE compression dial on top of the right stanchion, with a removable GOLD cap in the centre for the flood gate adjust.
Could anyone help?
Many thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Josh

Hi Nicklouse
I checked there, it's a cap for the air valve. Nothing beneath it other than the valve. And its similar on the bottom of the left leg.
Or have a been muppet and missed it, cos I have no clue what it would look like?0 -
From the commie website it's a dual air fork not a dual position air fork. You have +ve air on the top of the left (from rider perspective) leg and -ve on the bottom but no travel adjust without disassembly of the forks i'm afraid.0

That's what I feared.
I got the info from here,

Is this only for the RLT then?0 -
I don't think they are travel adjust.

Dual Position is available on a range of models - it has to state specifically Dual Position. Your fork does not have it.0

Ok, slightly gutted but no matter. Cheers all.
I never got chance to ride today and won't be able to tomorrow either. The shell/shim that goes over the none drive side axle and into the BB shell has cracked off, only half the circumference is left and the crank is a little wobbly.
Hopefully Merlin will ship me a replacement tomorrow.
Would this cause any damage if I commute to work? The wobble is only very slight...0 -
Don't ride if it wobbles, you can destroy the bearings.0

Good point
Thank you all0
