Fitting an E13 SSg with an SLX crankset

Hi,
I'm trying to fit an SLX crankset alongside an e13 SSG. The BB size is 73mm.
I have taken the bashring and the granny ring off the crankset however the mounts for the granny ring are rubbing against the e13 plate.
Whats the best solution here? Chop off the granny ring mount (seen this on another post... although would prefer to not do this), OR will adding a few 1mm BB spacers in do the trick... slightly changing the chain line.
Would really appreciate peoples thoughts before I start cutting up my new crankset.

You can't add more spacers, has to be that set width.
Might have to get the grinder out I am afraid.0
