crank pulling tool

I have a park tools ccp-22 crank puller and I was wondering if anyone new a way to adapt it so that I can pull an truvativ blaze crank from an isis BB - the tool seems to thread OK it's just the face of the tool isn't big enough to make contact with the BB. I believe the correct tool is the ccp-44 but would rather not buy one for a one off job
Thanks

I've got a ccp-22 and a ccp-44, I think if you were to file all the milling off a 5p piece it could be used in conjunction with the ccp-22 tip as an adaptor.0

I take it you've read though http://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-hel ... r-octalink ?
I'd get the correct tool though myself if need be as it's unlikely it will be a one-off job. Cranks come off frequently on mine to service various bits.
Though you can buy cheaper than Park Tools (admitted Park Tools is good stuff).0 -
