Bar ends keep coming off!

Was just wondering is there any tricks/tips or mods i can do to my Superstar bar ends to keep them coming off every time i touch them. I've screwed the screw as far as i can before either the plate inside bends or they just pop over due to the tension. cheers Matt

try cutting a little bit of rubber from an old inner tube and slide in side into the bar to reduce diameter and give a bit of bite for the cap to fit
