Just wondered if any of you have had any experience of these, and what you think about it!!

Thanks All!

Only the large pink frame is £249.99. I have a (out of action) planet x pro carbon. I really liked the frame, but then again I've never ridden another carbon frame. I'm probably going to buy another one to replace my broken frame.

And only £70 for the matching pink fork. That's a bit of a bargain. If it was available in small I'd probably get one for my girlfriend

Fantastic, ask people what they think then criticise them.

    Nope.

When I bought my PX I thought about buying the pink (old logo style) with a black fork just to calm it down a bit. I was too chicken and went for the white. I wish now I'd been brave enough to just go for it.....

am I the only one that hates the Planet X marketing approach on stuff like this?

The TT frame 'FROM £299' but only the XL in red is £299 and they are out of stock...what a surprise. Then there was the merino base layers and funny how the normal sizes were twice the price of the others etc etc. The SRAM RED build bikes that dont have much Red on them at all etc etc...

I know there are some bargains to be had but this whole approach to marketing makes me feel they are being dishonest and underhand and puts me right off. Its a shame as I want to like them and feel like I'm somehow getting a bargain but it all just leabves a bad taste in my mouth :(

Hate is way too strong a word for it, but I would agree advertising "frames from £250", when all they have is one large pink one at that price is a bit devious, especially when all other options are £200 more.

    Just marketing I guess.

They seem to have sold the pink one now, but still showing as "frames from £250".

I've not noticed that with PX - I get the emails with Merino tops at £XX and I go and buy them for that price ? Maybe if you're late looking then they'll be out of stock ? Or have they just started doing this ?

  • I may have bought the last pink one so sorry if I beat anyone to it! :P

Not sure on if some white components would tip it over the edge into super feminine or not?
