Disc brake question

I recently changed the pads on my Formula Oro K18's.

I changed them for a set of superstar pads, like I have done several times before and have been doing for over a year.

On my ride earlier I noticed the rear pads were rubbing, I did the usual alignment stuff and even took the pads out on the trail to force the pistons back further but the pads we're still rubbing the disc.

The disc is perfectly straight as I've checked that too.

I recently had to move my bike into the garage for storage and due to space I have it hanging from the wall. The bike is hung from the handle bars at a 90 degree angle from the floor.

Does anyone know if storing it in this way could have an affect on the fluid in the brake hoses? The brakes are ready for bleeding so I was a bit puzzled as to why the pads are stuck to the rotor?!

Thanks in advance, J.
I love the sound my tyres make on dusty single track!

  • cheers for that.

I'll just have to try and push the pistons back even further!
