painting a frame...

Hello. Im thinking of painting my tatty looking frame which is a transition vagrant. Has anyone done this themeslves? Im also thinking of maybe stripping off the paint and using it as raw aluminium, has anybody tried this or got any suggestions?

    stripping is easy just time consuming just need paint stripper and to strip down your frame
