Grips on carbon bars

Following on from http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... t=12785316

Question being, am I okay with Superstar grips on carbon bars? I forget how they lock on. The optional blingy caps I think should be okay as I think they screw onto the grip, not the bar.

Oh, and carbon grease stuff required? This carbon stuff is a bit new to me.

    The Superstar grips I have are similar to the ODI clamp style locks so they should be fine.

    Can't say for sure if carbon grip paste will be needed. If you already have some then a bit under each grip lock can't harm? otherwise put the grips on and see if they twist.

    Superstar are fine as the clamp all the way round the bars. The ones to avoid are those with little grubscrews.
