    Morning

Another day of dropping kids off at school, 7 mile run home, revision and then cycle up to pick them & car up later.

No revision tonight, as the pub is calling!

There is bacons in my near future. Then a s**t-load of work, some of it heavy. Bah!

Tomorrow? Tomorrow is Kaisers sufferfest, and the weather looks kak. Mountain biking as it's meant to be

Monday I go see a man about possible new jobs.

    Morning bumders

Lectures today (only 2), then heading home to Derbys this evening for a weekend of bikes.

    Win.
  • Finally back with health insurance, so off to the doctors soon to schedule an MRT to get my knee checked out, and hopefully I will have some form of surgery to fix it within the next month. Would be very happy finally being able to bike to my full potential again.

Other than that, I then have to travel to Vienna to take driving lessons, then back home late night after a piss-up. Should be decent after that.

    Morning,

I'm off to Cannock in a bit to meet a mate for an afternoon jaunt round the Dog & Monkey 8) Probably won't be back 'till late-ish. That is all for now.

  • Howdy doody Maggots,

Just another overcast and crappy day here
Good news is my new tyres should arrive today, according to Wiggle they were dispatched yesterday. Like a cheap ass, I went for the free delivery option

Anyway, let me get some momentum on the go and get this day rolling...

No it's when my wife over estimates the amount of painting, wiring and construction I can do in a week.

Oh I forgot to say anything yesterday, because I was in A Really Bad Mood, I had an ultrasound on my leg yesterday, apparently they've not seen a tendon in quite such a mess for a while! Lots and lots of physio in my future, but I was told that cycling is one of the best things I can do for it! 8)

I agree with that. It's a good non-impact exercise medium that increases blood flow the the affected area, thus improving recovery

When I had my leg "upgraded" in 2008 to the plate and 11 screws that keep it together I got back on the bike ASAP (91 days after breaking it) and it's sure worked out well for me.

6 hours of bloody thin sections to look at before a good friend's leaving do - free beer and free Dutch Snacks, then in to town for some tea and, probably, more beer

Really need to sort my life out this weekend, been sitting on the sofa eating too much crap and drinking too much crap and doing nothing. Time for a new ddraver!

  • Good morrow all,

Today I am paying a pennance for yesterdays awesomeness.

    things that happened yesterday.

Slept through alarm, however not so much so that i was late for work. Win 1.
On wandering out of my drive, I found a quid. Win 2.
On Bus into work, I had a choice of 2 seats, the one I plumped for meant that when the bus had to slam on violently , i didnt fall and look like a clumpet, as the person who was sat there did. Win 3.
Found out that my dead PS3 had been repaired, and i havent lost all my data/save games. Win 4
Arrive at work to find an email asking me if I want a free ticket to go see an advanced screening of 'Real Steel' that night (Not an oscar winner, but a fun watch). Win 5
When discussing what we should do for food, one of our suppliers says he'll meet us after the film and pay for dinner, at a rather nice Steakhouse. Win 6.
After the meal, said supplier says, 'shall we get on it then?' Many drinks were consumed (all paid for buy the supplier). Win 7.
I make that win to the power of 7. Happy Tom.

However I am now paying for this awesome with a horrible horrible hangover. :(
