Hi all,

This is not so much buying advice but more like selling advice. This is probably not the right area of the forum but I was stuck as to where I should put it.

I have a like new Cannondale Caad9 in matt black (2009) and was thinking of selling the frame and fork to get a slightly smaller frame. I need a 54cm and this is a 56cm.

Does anyone have any idea what its worth, as I have no idea what price I should advertise it for?

Thanks in advance

Richard

It's worth whatever someone will pay for it. Best bet is see how much they're fetching on Ebay and use that as a guide
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

There have been some cheap CAAD 9s sold on eBay in recent weeks - by cheap, I mean £550 or so for complete bike. Based on that, I think that you'd have to be looking at £350 or so for frame & fork (unlike the guy trying to sell a CAAD10 frameset for £750, when the complete bike is available for less than a grand.

    Only my opinion of course.

    Thanks
  • If you're looking to sell then I may well be interested in buying frame and forks - obviously depending on what you've decided is a reasonable asking price!
Any chance you can send/link to pictures?
